Admissions for Enrollment in Oct. 2024 (Second Round)

Phoenix Leader Education Program (Hiroshima Initiative) for Renaissance from Radiation Disaster (at the Organization of the Leading Graduate Education Program) is accepting high-quality students from around the world who will become future Phoenix Leaders.

Qualifications for Application
Applicants must confirm their qualification for application in the admission guide and determine whether they need the preliminary evaluation.  For those individuals who take the preliminary evaluation for application qualification, the required documents must be submitted by 17:00 on March 28 (Thu),2024(JST).

General Admission
For the Radiation Disaster Medicine Course (a 4-year program)
For the Radioactivity Environmental Protection Course (a 5-year program)
For the Radioactivity Social Recovery Course (a 5-year program)

Application Deadline for the preliminary evaluation (if applicable) 17:00 on March 28 (Thu), 2024(JST)
Application period 8:30am on May 1 (Wed) to 17:00 on May 8 (Wed), 2024(JST)
Screening of the application documents The Application Documents from applicants shall be evaluated.
Oral Examination June 8 (Sat), 2024  
At Kasumi Campus, Hiroshima University (Hiroshima City)
*The online oral examination (via web conference system) shall be offered to the applicants who currently reside outside Japan.
Notification of Results The result shall be announced at 10 a.m. on July 26 (Fri), 2024(JST)

a) Submit an “Information Sheet” to Phoenix Leader Education Program Office
b) Find a prospective academic advisor whose research focus aligns closely with their area of interest from the list of the program members in the application guide. (Submit an “Information sheet” and a “Research Plan” to the advisor when approaching.)
c) Have the agreement to review an application as a potential advisor before applying.
