In October 2021, we welcomed four new students to Phoenix Leader Education Program.

Three students participated at the actual venue, and one student, who was unable to come to Japan before the event due to the recent global spread of coronavirus infection, participated in the opening ceremony via the web.

At the opening ceremony, the program director, Dr. Kenji Kamiya, Vice President in charge of Reconstruction Support/Radiation Medicine gave words of encouragement to the students that “I hope that you will acquire a broad range of knowledge in this program and work hard at your research. You may face to many hardships, but I also hope that you will enjoy your time in graduate school.”
