We have welcomed three students newly enrolled in the Phoenix Leader Education Program in October 2023.

The program director, Dr. Kazuhiro Tsuga, Executive Vice President (Community Collaboration, Funding and Alumni Associations) in his greeting speech, sent messages to the participants that “Students need to learn cross-disciplinary studies in order to become phoenix leaders who promote radiation disaster recovery”, and “Students should enjoy their graduate school life at Hiroshima University, although students may sometimes feel anxious about their life away from their home countries”.

They just started taking courses to acquire knowledge and skills in multiple fields, as well as deepening their own specialized fields, with the aim of becoming “Phoenix Leaders.”
